INTRODUCTION

With the acquisition of NYX by L’Oréal in 2014, NYX had to update their entire portfolio to meet new brand standards. Final Art partnered with their in-house creative team to lead the revamp updating over 1500 SKUs across 15+ different platforms.

An oasis of GLAM

NYX is a leader in the cosmetic industry, reaching everyone from high end professional makeup artists to the everyday girl. Final art helped with their in-store displays. The goal was to make the experience trendy and premium yet approachable and still feature the hero, the product.

Beyond the Box

Along with the Global Update, Final Art was also tasked with the update and refresh of numerous fixtures and displays that coincided with the change in packaging.

Creating brand consistency solutions

NYX has over 1500 SKUs. What we learned in the global update project is that a lot of the packaging had been done as one-offs. We were able to provide solution based results. This was done by creating consistency in how the logos were treated, where we placed product indicators and overall copy layout making it easier for the consumer to really understand what they were choosing.
